Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Had to have a little play with my fabulous new shops!

Had my 1st real play in my new room tonight, although the shelves are all down so I could fill the holes before he makes nice new ones tomorrow! He wasn't impressed by the sound of the nice expensive fixings dropping down the back of the wall as he took the screws out....oops!

Anyway I couldn't resist a little play with my new shops so this is my second post of the day!!! 1st up was the witches shop. I had all the stuff in the witches house so it was just a case of arranging it. Funny I took all that out and it still looks just as full!! You can see the shelving much better now with all the jars I did and Kats hats can been seen much better. I made a couple of little shelves and put the dragons cage in. Fangus has a new home but may move him back as I think he liked his old home better! It just needs a light and maybe some more shelves at the back full of spooky things. I love the name Celandine cottage. I had no idea what that was but when I searched it I found  out its a yellow poppy and thought that was quite appropriate for a witches shop! Its even exactly the right colour background so it was def meant to be. I think this is one of my favourite shops ever it has so much character for something that's so small!!

I also had a little play with the purple cottage. This is called Sea Thrift cottage and has another of JULIE LAWTONS gorgeous plagues. Its going to be a handbag shop I am just waiting on shelves to display all the bags. I just had to put the chandelier up made by the lovely LUCY and its just gorgeous!! So pretty and sparkly I just love it!!
