WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Aunt Alice has arrived :-)

Aunt Alice is Amelias Aunt who has come come a visit to see how the garden is getting on. Shes sitting in the sun waiting for Amelia whos not at home yet. Shes already been to the shops and treated herself to a new hat as it matched her dress nicely. She will pop in a see her friend Rose shortly for a nice natter and a cup of tea or maybe something stronger ;-)

She was originally supposed to be a mini me but she looks a bit older so decided she is def one of the family but not me just yet! a few more years maybe the hair and the ruddy cheeks are about right lol.

Also got  a great bin from the DH shop in Inverness now mr Fox has a good reason to be mooching down that alley!

Been busy doing lots of things so far this week woke up way too early this morning thinking of all the things I have to do. I decorated the sweetie shelves last night and really pleased how they have turned out! just ordered some fab looking sweets some fudge and flumps from Ebay and waiting on a few other bits so will post some pics when its finished. Also redone the village wall as it kept sagging. Lindsay got his pal at work to cut me a piece of ply the right size and glued it on last night so now its a proper sturdy wall! just need to add the new movie posters and it will finish it off. I have to say I love my little village I spend hours in the spare room making things I had to be dragged out for dinner yesterday lol I love this hobby its def released my inner interior designer!
